Very cool looking game, buy it from their site and get a Steam key (plus linux build.) If you have US$9.00 you should buy this.

Two quick tips: 1) Don't use autofire, it's way better to let the weapons sync and then manually fire in a volley. 2) Don't forget to upgrade your blast doors, much safer to move your crew into a safe room and let the invaders eat vacuum. |

This is an awesome game, I can't wait to see what mods turn up. Already a couple of cool ones out there. I haven't managed to actually win yet though...

tis awesome. the only thing it is missing is more interactions when you jump.
a text box, fight or run makes it a bit shallow. they should have gone a bit more down the path of space rangers with deeper text based interactions. No quite as crazy as that game (where you could spend 30 minutes on a single text game) but certainly a little more. |

FFS. Finally finished one through with the Kestral; Had to keep changing my load-out between the final battles, got the sodding rebel flagship on the last possible jump before losing.
Yeah, giving up on this game for a while now. Fun, but ridiculously frustrating too.

Lol yeah I dumped many hours into it before I actually managed to clock it.
Fun and addictive game but you're at the mercy of RNG. You should give the Federation ship a go which you unlock after finishing the game. |

Getting cloaking and transporting is awesome, but fuck it's frustrating when you realise you have to start from scratch.

Good luck. Took me about 30 goes to finally beat the flagship.
Level 3 teleport and a good boarding crew is probably one of the easiest ways to disable the flagship. Take the missle launcher first, then the beam weapon and the ion weapon. Leave the laser weapon intact and kill all other crew, otherwise the AI will take over which makes it a hit harder. Also level 1 cloaking is the best way of avoiding the power surges |

2nd attempt, with The Kestrel. Although, plenty of attempts getting to L8.
I had an ion bomb and two lasers and a beam, max shield/power, L2 defense drone, full crew. Ion bomb was key. Dropped their shield for four rounds, plenty of time to tear shit up.

Ion Bomb is awesome. One of my best runs was two Ion Blast Mk2 and one Ion bomb.
