I'd expected to see this for quite some time, I did however expect it to be followed by something like:
"Greig was granted leave to apply for home detention". Thankfully a judge who was able to grasp the scope of his offending got hold of this and is sending him directly to jail. Based Greigs comments last week you can tell he didn't see this coming, that somehow makes it even more delicious. |

Big ups to the judge as well.

I dunno, sorta sounds 25th Hour-ish ( SD's situation )... I don't think you get 3 years for a first offence of selling weed and oil. Must have been something a bit heavier then that.
SD possibley deserves what he's getting... although I agree, Katalyst ( if that's who it is ) probably deserves it more. |

it was a bit more than that. but bud crime is not true crime, and shouldnt be criminalized anyway, so i say he doesnt deserve it. (of course, whether he does or not is entirely up to the individual).

"Weighing against Greig was the fact he faced two charges of burglary in 2002"- I didnt actually know abotu that bit :P "Judge Harvey sentenced Greig to 20 months in prison for accessing a computer system and 18 months for the other charges of credit-card fraud" - OOooer.. not just that first 20, but another 18 haha Last edited by Cyberbob : 1st June 2004 at 12:43. |

Yeah but he will serve both at the same time meaning he will only spend 20 months if that, IIRC IANAL

"Home detention was refused and the sentences are to be served concurrently."
^ that means he only spends 20 months instead of 38? Ghay =( |
