Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if there's a fair amount of truth to the claims, he seems to be the type of guy who doesn't give up on something, regardless of protest.

Rule of law has been a fairly tenuous concept for awhile in the US. I think Assange has to worry about "advanced interrogation" if he's sent there.
