Always itchy
|
For me, the novelty wore off when I felt obliged to buy more of those scrubber pads with the George Foreman Brand Groves cut into them. I don't want to scratch it up using a stiffer pad, but it needs more than a gentle wipe...
What do you fellow Georgers use to clean them?

Huh?

those grills are the tits.
I suck at cleaning them though. I'm usually way too lazy to clean them after I have used them, I should be more disciplined! |

Man you must suck if you can't clean it properly.
I eat my dinner, then when I get round to cleaing up I turn it back on for about a minute to get it hot, and get a very wet sponge and wipe down. Easy as pie. (Hmm... George Foreman pie...) |

I don't actually have a George grill - I've got an older version of the Silex 61080 Kitchen Genius.
Folks brought it at a home show thing, years ago (at the old show & sports centre in Welly may give you an idea how long ago), and basically no-one was using it at home since I moved out, so I intercepted it when they went to turf it. Fuck it's awesome! And I've even got it mounted to a stand so that if I want GF-grill-like draining it does that too. I've even used it to bake cakes & bread, cook rice / potatos, stir-fry, grill, (etc, etc, etc)

when your food is cooked, take it off, and immediately wipe it down with a bunch of paper towels. easy clean.

I've got a 3M sponge that has a scrubber side that claims not to damage teflon surfaces, so I use that.

I ordered some books from amazon Japan on Sunday night.
They reached me today. Is that even possible?!?!?!? that's less time then it would probably take to get it from within NZ. |

Secret Amazon teleportation technology. There was a fuck up on the Amazon side of things, they dropped it through the portal a couple of days too soon.
