Have first-aid on hand in case of trouble - oh wait a minute there is nothing that helps. The effects should last about 12 hours - 10 minutes in the mouth, stomach cramps for a few hours, burning hot pee, and a general feeling of being hot inside that will last them for a while. Assuming they can eat them of course (which is unlikely). Often you can get people to eat a tiny piece and they'll claim they're not too bad. Well the thing is you have to eat all of it and not just 1%. Only very rarely will someone accept the suggestion of trying a little bit more. I had a chap at work last week who was willing to eat half of one if I'd eat the other half. What a deal - whilst slightly unpleasant for me (I have them diluted through food normally) it was an extra special experience for the other person. |

I'm tempted to try a teeny tiny piece myself. Sounds like a very small piece at the point of a slice of pizza (where people bite first) would be all that is required.
I'd love to set up a web cam, there's a perfect spot in the break room too. Probably be quite impractical to do though, and I open myself up to covert recording complaints.

GT would you recommend trying to grow a Trinidad Scorpion from seed in a greenhouse? I'm going to buy a cheapo plastic walk in one for my peppers and I've got a cayenne I'm growing from a seed of my current cayenne plant, it seems to be doing well so far but I'm worried about the cold even with a greenhouse.
I really want to try a Trinidad Scorpion, but I can't even handle my habaneros! |

I don't understand: They're an ingredient. You don't just eat the bloody things straight unless you want to feel like you're dying.

Once you get up to habanero level I can't eat them for fun any more and I use them as seasonings or flavourings only. I've had a 500ml bottle of homemade habanero sauce in the fridge since 2001 and I haven't used it all yet.

All my Habaneros have dried now, do I just put them in a blender if I want to make some pepper seasoning out of them?
My Cayennetta has been producing solidly and my poor Cayenne plant that was on the brink of death has sprung into unbelievable life by my hands! Started growing fruit but I fear without a greenhouse it may not produce many quality ones. I bring it inside every night though, because I am a good father. |

Keep outside once the fruit has started to set and you'll get smaller, hotter chillis.

Excellent! I will try that when the habanero next fruit, I think it's gone dormant for winter now. The others are still producing though.
