Left window open last night because hot. This morning, two cockroaches on the wall. Mating. Turns out that one doesn't mount the other, they back up into each other. I gather them up in a glass and they're still entwined. I was going to throw the buggers out the window but... y'know... reproducing cockroaches? Don't need that. I throw the roaches in the toilet and while flailing on the water they're not just entwined, they're entangled. They ain't stopping the mating humping for impending doom or nuthin'.
They're gone now, somewhere down the sewers... probably not even dead and still connected to each other, ass to ass.

A close friend recently lost her copy of our Facebook conversation history, and wants to get it back. Google and the following URL both say that it's possible, but I cannot see the Forward option anywhere in Facebook. Have tried desktop Messenger, mobile, normal Facebook full inbox, but none of them offer the option (that I can see).

try clicking the messages icon at the top, click See All, More and check Archived incase she archived them. If they're deleted they're likely gone

Also, try going to settings and "Download a copy of your Facebook data" - maybe the chat is still in there

I suspect they say they can be forwarded as they can be copy/pasted

Must suck being a vegetarian.

We had one of the large Christmas hams left over from the customer giveaways so this morning it was glazed in the smoko room oven, filling the place out with them smells good smells.

We then got a bunch of bread, sauces, cheeses, salads etc. Fed all the staff and the odd customer too.

Except that one vegetarian. Sux2bu

I agree - the first time around, I turned off the screen when the final battle got a bit hairy, but now when he watches it, he's running around the lounge with his light sword smoting the Orcs.

^^^ That seems like yesterday, but he got his NCEA results today, and it seems that introducing him to the visual arts at an early age has had no detrimental effect. And he prefers dead tree over Kindle too.

Thanks - she logged out of Facebook on her phone and restarted it, and it somehow brought them back (she's "not technical"). There used to be an actual "forward" option in Facebook messenger, I'm not sure where it's gone though. Downloading the Facebook profile data does get the chat back, but it misses any pictures, links, file sends etc. which is what she was specifically after.
