dude... the opinion you offer is "you're a dick and not capable of forming an opinion"
followed up with the king hit "all lefties are stupid/corrupt/whatever fits with DPF's latest nonsense" if it ever actually comes to having to front with some kind of substance you vituperate and engage in that tragic forum troll style 'circular argument about the argument' or 'semantic nit-picking' that gets so confusing and pointless, while crocos or madmaxie try to think of something to say. you NEVER actually engage with the point, cause in the end, if anybody says 'stats or it didn't happen'... you got nothing. all the selfish bullshit (economic and social) you seem to believe in has been clearly shown to be wrong here in the real world- despite your insistance that you and your brethren are the only ones that live there. you used to be young and smart, now your 30'ish and dull.kill yourself.

Uhh... moron. You don't know what I believe. You're under the false assumptin that because I make fun of the failure of the left wing since 2008 and its dopey supporters that I must surely be some sort of right winger. You couldn't be more wrong.

Back on topic...
How much power does the Mayor really have? Looks like National isn't too happy with Len's rail plan. Can he get something done if the government doesn't want it? BTW, looks like National wants Banks to stand against Hide in Epsom next election. I support that idea.

And what a breath of fresh air Brown has proved to be.... |

Um I think that the people standing in the election have nothing to do with the fund-raising side of the campaign.
But yeah, comparatively speaking, Brown is a breath of fresh air.

Heh yeah, was thinking the same thing. What the hell has that got to do with Brown. Somehow the donors wish to remain anonymous is Browns fault?

Is this Len Brown the same Len Brown who campaigned on transparency?

Yeah, what's your point? Do you think it was in Browns powers to get the names of the donors who wished to remain anonymous from the Auckland Council Trust and make them public?

I'm sure Brown had absolutely no control over his campaign nor the creation of a special trust to protect the identity of his 'donors'. And I'm sure that half a million dollars was donated completely out of love for Brown without any expectation of anything in return. Of course with no transparency we will never find out whether or not the agendas of his hidden donors get pushed through or not.
But I guess he took less in donations than Banks, so that makes it okay. |

Well you being sure is solid evidence and all.

Ah yes, the Len Brown version of transparency. Transparency when it makes me look like a good honest guy! But when it might make me look bad? No transparency for you!
Oh hey, whatever happened to that '100 days of action' horseshit he came up with?

im sure his southie supporters must love that 15k of it came from a fucking casino. well done on not putting THAT one into the trust.
oh thats right, its cos they want Len to know they gave to him. good work on accepting money from the rat fucks who took it from your main voting base dude. really, if he had said "thanks but no thanks" it would have boosted his campaign more than an extra 15k would have. |
13th December 2010, 16:43 | #135 |
|
So again, how is this got anything to do with Brown? You might want to take up this issue with his donors, tell them the public need more transparency.

I'm not sure the funds involved are large enough to warranty any high level of scrutiny, considering the purpose of the money. It must have been a mini-boom for a few marketing agencies and the like in Auckland.

Haha. apparently Banks received donations from the casino also, but didn't bother to reveal that he had in his returns. At least Brown was transparent enough to admit it and take the rap for it.
Scary to think Banks was the alternative. |

LOL
My political knowledge is better than your political knowledge!!!!!1 Fixed truth, the reason why you're trying to pretend that you're not all over Brown's cock is because you think it'll give you some sort of impartial credibility which everyone knows you're lacking. The problem is, the only person here who is transparent. I can see right through your imbecilic claims. "Oh yah, I totally back Len Brown for the job but only because he just happens to be the right man for the job. Which I know to be true because of my Political Knowledge. I'd totally back John Banks all the way if he was the right man for the job. Honest!" I got Len Brown on my 'D', 1 2 3 He said "2 for you, 2 for me" Can't you see, can't you see That I got Len Brown on my 'D'
