A drift is going sideways around a corner using the accelerator and brakes to maintain that sidewaysness upon entry, through the apex and the exit of the corner.

An out of control bus with locked up air brakes isn't a drift

/gripe.

If preasure is lost in some types of air brake systems, the brakes will jam on causing it to lock up like that.
