Isn't it exclusive to 360? Outside of the US? Not sure of the details / whether it's a timed thing but i haven't heard anything about a pending release on PSN.

Haven't heard the word exclusive used yet but rather delayed.

Wouldn't surprise me if there were some underlying 'incentives' though, but the EU store is notorious for its delays.

No indication of any deal between MS and Capcom. Even if it was all 'hush-hush', and there was a deal, it would have an end date. Thus Sony could give Euro PSN users a firm release date.

What's happening is that Sony are holding off for reasons unknown.
Anything else is just speculation.

Capcom told my editor of the exclusivity. They didn't give an end date. That's not speculation.

Dusty's link gives an end date of the 20th of Feb. If your editor is correct it's a bit stupid for two reasons - Killzone 2 is out latter that week/a week latter, it isn't stopping anyone who wants it from getting it off the US store anyway.

Seems a bit of a pointless exercise to be honest, someone wasn't using their head when they came up with that one.

Only reasoning i can think of is that they were hoping to get the street fighter 4 people, like me, who have both systems and need to decide which to get it for. Now that I have this on 360, when i get my fancy street fighter stick i'm more likely to get it for the 360 which locks me in for sf4.

It's weak i know but it's all i've got.

Patch is coming out soon I believe. There's a few bugs I've noticed although the only truly annoying one is sometimes the stage music turns off completely and won't come back on in vs. matches.

That's not a bug it's a feature

I remember having that happen in the arcades with the original SF2.

Is it just me or is the random selection for single player mode in this not overly random? Every day after work I fire it up and and every single time I get (let's see how well my memory works) blanka, cammy, fei long, guile, t hawk, ryu, dee jay, honda.

You're dead right. I usually only play Ken and I get the exact same sequence of players every time. Didn't notice it until I gave Sagat a blat and realised I'd never fought one of the chars before..
