You can't get the upperhand because most of the time, even if my opinion is different to yours, it is well formulated and informed.
Stubborn doesn't come into it, stubborn is someone who changes his view every five seconds to continue an argument - I'm like a sledge hammer, pounding the same tune out since Feb 08. |

Lightspeed is a stinking piece of monkey douche who can't remain consistent to a point and uses semantics as one of his chief argument weapons.
Haydos however, in Haydos we trust. |

Don't listen to those other two d-bags.
JP is a man you can trust. While his intellect and physique are astounding, perhaps godlike, he is also extremely humble. Unlike those other 'elitist' jerks. |

Hrm I'm surprised it's not on here yet. I thought it'd be big news.
There seems to be an absent on nzgames about a certain ornithological piece. A headline regarding mass awareness of a certain avian variety. Oh, have you not heard? It was my understanding that everyone had heard.

[Peter, Stewie and Brian are sitting at the kitchen table. Brian is reading a newspaper]
Peter: Brian, can I see that paper for a second? [Brian hands him the paper] Huh, that's odd. I thought that would be big news. Brian: You thought what would be big news? Peter: Well, there seems to be an absence of a certain ornithological piece. A headline regarding mass awareness of a certain avian variety. Brian: What are you talking about? Peter: Oh, have you not heard? It was my understanding that everyone had heard... Brian: Heard what? Stewie: Brian, don't! [Peter puts the record on and starts dancing and singing] Peter: A-well-a bird-bird-bird, b-bird's the word, A-well-a bird-bird-bird, b-bird's the word, A-well-a bird-bird-bird, b-bird's the word, A-well-a bird-bird-bird, b-bird's the word, A-Brian, don't you know, about the bird? Well, Peter's gonna tell you about the bird! A-well-a bird, bird, b-bird's the word, A-well-a bird. Surfin'-- [Peter starts blubbering along with the song, with eventually turns into a seisure-like fit] Brian: Oh my God, Peter, are you alright? Peter: Pa-pa-pa ooma-mow-mow, [gets up and starts dancing again] pa-pa oomow-ma-mow, Pa-pa-pa ooma-mow-mow, pa-pa oomow-ma-mow, Pa-pa-pa ooma-mow-mow, pa-pa oomow-ma-mow... [Peter continues as Brian leaves. Stewie is shown with a blank expression on his face. He then pulls a gun out and puts it to his mouth]

Nikkei is getting OWNED beyond belief atm. Down over 10% and still dropping.
I assumed they had a circuit breaker like the US where a 10% drop meant trading suspended for the rest of the day, but apparently not... |

Can someone explain freezing for the rest of the day to me?
Whats the point in telling people they can't trade shares for the rest of the day.. they're just going to wait until opening the next day aren't they? Then that day's going to be affected too.

Usually they freeze shares after a major announcement so everyone trading is on an even footing.
Or in the case of a massive drop so everyone gets a chance to calm the fuck down and not freak out and make a bunch of stupid uninformed trades. |

id assume alot of trading happens automatically... if something happens, do this... if something else happens, do this... the freeze would be to stop something becoming an avalanche...
