WFH (still) so not getting corporate email - requested new P-Card be sent home.
Card eventually arrives a day before expiry of the old one.
Covering letter indicates I need to rock up to a branch with Photo ID, and two addressed bills to verify home address. (That took a while to find).
Go to branch, wait in queue.
Get called to the side where cards can be made magically active.
Clerk tries once then declares that they can't do it in branch, I need to call the online call centre and they will activate it.
Go to carpark.
Sitting in car, call the call centre, and get told they can't activate it, it needs to be done in branch.
Go back inside, and stealthily hide from previous clerk and get new one.
Get advised that as not a customer, they need to build a complete user profile and load it against the card.
Photocopies everything, and asks all the probing questions.
Activates card - yay! Now I need a PIN.
Referred back to magic card machine.
Tries once - "Yeah, it's been playing up - come back another day..."
"It'll still work for online purchases?" (Like Digicerts I need to renew ASAP)..
"Oh yeah - no worries"

...wait about 4 weeks, and whilst walking through the mall:
