Amazing atmosphere at the pub in Sydney - tons of both AB and French supporters, and a hell of a lot of Aussies backing the Kiwi's. Was brilliant watching the boys going up to receive their medals.

Hat off to the French team, they played their hearts out, and they gave the entire country a fucking good fright

In terms of level of competition and nerves, that was the best game of rugby I've watched in a long time

I think in hindsight the intensity that we had against the Aussies probably wasnt there, we seemed quite stressed, Piri missed a number of kicks, and the good French team turned up last night.

However we are the only team that went through unbeaten, and we had to beat the Aussies, and the French twice to claim a tough victory.

What other nation could have their 4th string #10 running around a RWC final who was still the goods?

We are the deserving winners of the RWC 2011.

great game of rugby. massive defence by both sides, the true measure of a great team.

i blame heresy for weepus performance. ;P poor guy had the world on his shoulders.

henry should have put SBW on 20 minutes earlier, what a waste.

donald just whipped out his massive dong and slapped it around the ears of his naysayers - and he looked on fucking FIRE while doing it.

french were playing dirty as.

the 15 phase desperate final assault by france was incredible, as was the AB defence and eventual turnover - best part of the game for sure.

i claim credit for the win, due to me and warezthebeef owning france 10 times in a row in Rugby 08 before the game. you can thank me now.
