Ireland just shoved Australia over to the other side of the draw. We have to go through Argentina then the winner of Wales/Ireland to reach the final.

So great Australia = overrated. Samoa's big win started their downfall by making them pull out all the stops to perform in the Tri Nations. Now the RWC is here and they are out of ideas

Incredible game. Irish forwards dominated

the best part is now either Aus or SA will exit at the quarter finals since it appears they will meet in QF3

There are two things that are certain to happen at any rugby world cup. One is that the Wallabies scrum will fall apart and their front row will look like the Powerpuff Girls. The second involves the All Blacks.

Just watched the replay over late dinner, ended up fixated on the screen for the last half without touching my plate.

Ireland won the game of rugby against Australia and this was a surprise because normally Australia is better at playing rugby than Ireland is.

The Aussies have just learnt the same lesson we already know in that the team is just not the same without their star openside flanker.

Bank account got a nice boost after that. Ireland 1-12 @ $6.50. Although I wanted Bowe to score because of Coopers amazing pass, I was secretly hoping not.
Not suprised Ireland won, they have played well against the Aussies in the last 4-5 matches. Australia without Pocock/Ioane would always struggle. But was awesome being the only person in an Irish jersey at the pub, made me the number one supporter and recipient of many free drinks.

just watched the boks vs fiji highlights..
How worrying is it to see F Steyn land a penalty from 60m out, with relative ease?

Great game so far! Go Samoa! If Wales lose this losing the Springbok game will hurt even more.

Canada are a pretty good team I reckon. Totally buggered at the end, and too many mistakes all through - but fucking impressive.
This turn around time for the 'Tier 2' teams really is a fucking shitter though. |

^^I've always like Richard Loe and the fact that he popped his collar in the doco just solidified his spot as my favorite All Black.

Parra did score something like 23points in 15minutes at fly half. Although against Canada, it was a more than Trinh-Duc did. If he wants to see how good Parra is, why not through him in the deep end, match him against the best in the world and then know for the later games if it's a good option or not. Looks like a strong French team to me with a strong bench.
