This is pretty bollocks because no one smack talks, we don't put any money into it to make it interesting, the winner gets nothing (not even a well done from anyone else usually) and half the participants drop off and stop picking after 4 weeks. I'm boycotting it unless everyone puts in a couple bucks to make it interesting, winner takes all.

I would never have guessed the score would have been so tight. The brumbies got a drop goal in the last 2minutes to take the game.

I thought the Highlanders would win at home with their new line up. Watched the first 20 minutes and saw they were 19-0 up and then put on a dvd.

Tuned in later and cursed the f*ckers. No love for them now for the rest of the season.

SD is right though, you may as well contribute a small fee $2-$5, and make the virtual rugby something better than empty bragging rights.

Laulala, Smith and Kahui are all world class players at a position that we've had trouble with.

I was picking the chiefs to walk all over the crusaders this arvo. They had the whole AB backline pretty much *sigh*

Way more 12 and unders than I would have liked last week. I imagine that the bigger margins will come once the good teams hit their straps more.

I don't want to touch Canes/Cru on my multi. Would love to see the Chiefs win but I can't see them beating the clinical Sharks, even with the odd moment of brilliance from their backs.

I'm hoping the Stormers can do 13+ on the Blues. That would make my weekend.

Is there a way of seeing how the NZG group is ranked against other groups?

Our average is 125.77 - needs to be 135+ to get on the small group leaderboard. Come on you fullahs!!

Nah, it's all good. 125pt average for the group is still pretty good going. I'm surprised I've managed to get as many points as I have TBH; I think a few random punts have paid off - last year I was outside the top 50,000.

The virtual rugby site really is a bit bullshit, i can't figure out how to add people to my mates list. I have people listed as 'friends' but their scores don't come up on my mates list, what the hell?! Anyone able to figure this out?

I think you can only add friends by username, rather than their actual name, which blows.
