I enjoyed all 8 seasons of it.
Sure it was all the same ole same ole but it keep the suspense and action up.

I do find it funny that now matter how may times he's save the President and the world from nuclear war, they still don't trust him...lol

Homicide life on the street - S01E05 - Three Men and Adena
A bottle episode focusing on an interrogation, potentially the Platonic ideal of a bottle episode done well. It's completely stand alone and so even if you aren't interested in watching the series it's worth grabbing to watch as a one shot.

I don't usually watch shows with supernatural themes but Penny Dreadful is so far doing enough to keep me watching.

edit: I finally got around to watching fringe. 2 seasons in and it's pretty boss.

Watched the first season of "Believe" - improved slowly over time. Reminiscent of the old Firestarter movie with Drew Barrymore from way back in the day (Dad on the run with daughter who can do some cool shit telepathically), found it quite watchable. Also started on "The 100" which so far seems like a cross between Lost and Lord of the Flies. Not completely terrible, but nothing to write home about just yet either.

Have to admit, Penny Dreadful started out brilliantly, but I'm losing interest.

I would go so far as to say that it made me miss the old 90s Flash TV series. Also lol @ "he just passed 200 knots per hour."

As a review said - "Watch with the sound off, and enjoy the supernatural themes and a post-apocalyptic NY randomly have Roman/Greek themes. Without the audio, you don't have to listen to the wooden stilted lines"

I'm gonna give it another couple episodes, but hopes are NOT high.

Constantine seems ok - friend who is well into the comics has said the new show is a lot truer to original story than the Reeves movie. Waiting to see how it turns out.

Constantine wasn't terrible, looks like it could have some definite potential. Jeremy Davies is usually good value.

First ep of The Ship was well worth it - I think I"ll give this a decent chance. But Dominion...ergh.

At least its closer to the source material than the movie was (in places that matter).

Hellblazer was a great series ... made me sad panda when DC moved it over to Constantine :/, still an ok read .. but not the same gritty 70s comic.
