Well, my marathon of Sorkin shows is over. I did The West Wing from pilot to finale, Studio 60 from pilot to the abrupt ending of the first and only season, and last night I finished this month's mission of Sports Night from pilot to finale.

I fucking loved Sports Night. Unlike the West Wing, which had dud seasons 5 and 6, and Studio 60, which went rapidly downhill when it became the Danny and Harry Rom-com, Sports Night was all killer no filler. The show started out good, shifted up a gear to great, and was all-out awesome by the time it got cancelled. Why do great shows get canned? Why???
