I was prepared for Cougar Town to be Sex in the City, but it's funny as imo. You can def tell it's heritage with the style of a lot of the humour, the non-sequetors and comedy-from-violence. Ah Scrubs, how great you were. For a while.

Funny, yes. But when it did the whole feel good BS, I switched it off.

Sick of TV shows that all work out at the end of each episode with a take home message for the audience. PAH!

Yeah cougar town was a lot better than expected. my only complaint is that by the end of the season you can pretty much predict every single thing that's going to happen, every single thing someone is going to say, and how everyone is going to react. they need to change that shit up

To be honest, without people on here raving about it I had already written it off as "desperate housewives 2". Wasn't even gonna bother with it.

That's a fair point - hopefully they'll keep borrowing from Scrubs and mix it up as they go along.

Also: I think that's going to be their other issue though, as dylan noted, if you've watched a bunch of Scrubs, and now Cougar Town (and also Clone High!), the jokes are gonna get pretty predictable.

What I'm waiting for is Weeds. Must be about time for season 6...

Due to the size of his ego he's hardly likely to have an anonymous wife, the emphasis being the big tough guy with the mouth takes a cheap shot at home. Would love to see Chuck get a chance to sort him out but would prob just burn me like the Rampage Evans fight the other night.

Damn, nearly everything I watch is on a break atm. The Office, V, American Idol (well truth be told I never watched the last 6 or so eps of that but still). Mihgt have to go back to Glee. Oh, even SnL on a break for a couple weeks! Lame.

Hmm might start watching Fringe, watched first 3 eps and seemed....ok

Season 2 was a bit different to 1, because by now you've got a lot of answers(or enough clues to work out the answers). There's a lot more to do with the overall story, less monster-of-the-week stuff (which is a shame, as I found their MOTW episodes very enjoyable in an X-Files/Outer Limits way)
Plus, they don't dick around when it comes to explaining things - by the end of season 2, pretty much everything makes sense and there are no questions left unanswered.

It's pretty much the anti-Lost.

Nah - all three seasons stand on their own. There are some characters that appear in more than one, but not many.

Underbelly Season 3 is an entertaining watch but there are a lot of "errors" in the show in terms of what really happened.

Never thought I'd see the day when they'd have a mental health advisory at the end of Dr Who, but that was done very well.

That said it never gets in the way of the storytelling which is much better on this series. Takes a bit of a slog to get through the first nine episodes, but the second half of the season has been using what it built to good effect for dramatic payoffs in this second half.
No complain of product so far.
