Small slimes are currently invincible in SMP. Disconnect, wait, reconnect. Awful.

drop rate is ok - at times.... sometimes nothing goes out - other times, shitloads!

I fell off it twice.... first time, damn skelly pinged me - fell into the collection channel, so all my gear was waiting for me in my collection hole

; second time a spider jumped me and pushed me off outside - my gear got a bit scattered, took a wee while to find it all. Don't think I did get it all.

traps have changed substantially since the spider climbing update. Drop rates vary drastically depending on spider blockages. Rince's trap seems a lot less prone to severe blockages than mine, though.

A render would indeed be nice.

Minecraft really needs some new content added... Squid... that wasn't exactly worth the wait.

Pigmen - theories abound that the pigmen are a step towards having villages/towns you can interact with - sounds interesting but how far away?

Maybe hores I mean horses would be a fun addition.

arrows + dispensers + pressure plates + redstone wires (+ a sign, warning of the danger

Sorry to whoever's cave it is I busted into and mined the fuck out of. I was just collecting stone from the mines under my castle and heading further west (I think) through mineshafts and broke into an enourmous cave system. Went a bit of the way through and wound up connected to a partially explored section of cave loaded with so much good stuff. Couldn't resist the urge to explore it. There's still heaps down there which means I think I'll find myself back in there next time I get bored. I mean hell the cave network is the biggest most open one I've seen yet, and while only exploring maybe 40 - 50% of it (estimate) I found 3 dungeons!

Even cow's trap generates 3 fifth's of FA.

Hadn't been playing recently, but just logged in, and yes drop rate is abysmal, also noted some weirdness with minecarts. eg on a straight line, it would randomly "bounce" and start going the other way.

I think Rince and myself are the main users of the WMS, although it's a bit squiffy at the moment. Lots of block lag (reappearing blocks after mining) and very strange mob spawning (or lack of). (brackets)

I do use the WMS server from time to time as well.

My server hasn't been used as I stopped it when pretty much everyone migrated to the WMS server. It's still around and can be bought back up again if the WMS one is going to disappear.

Re the lag (and maybe some of the resource usage BaM is talking about), I just checked the server logs and it was displaying lots of "Can't keep up" messages so I've restarted it. I think it does get itself tied up in knots from time to time and need a restart to sort things out.

I still use the WMS server, but not as much as others I think. Fully understand if you want to take it down though. Too bad I had pretty much only just finished a full train line between my castle and the spawn, using quite a few hundred pieces of track.

It'll be sad to see my stock of diamonds go, but I can live with it.

I'm quite happy to leave it there if it's being used by a reasonable number of people. I just don't want to be hosting a java ghost town.

So if more people jump on it can stay; otherwise it's gonna get baleeted.

no-one uses the minecraft.sam.net.nz (creative) server anymore - I think due to it running a mod that hasn't been updated?
Could the game data be migrated from wms -> sam? (if resources are a problem - of course, I'm not the sysadmin, so I may be speaking out a hole in my arse)

Or at least put the game data up somewhere so it can be saved locally (& converted to single player, maybe, for those inclined, and want their stacks of diamond not lost

)

Just a request/opinion of a non-paying user

Understand fully if Sam/BaM decide otherwise - but really really would like the opportunity to grab the world data, if it going to disappear
