Looks like a fake review to me. As mentioned in the comments, this review just goes on about what is already known about the game |

Big lack of 2010 cars.. Most cars are a few years old now. Also no Mount Panorama? Very short list of rally tracks..
I know this game will be awesome, but still.. 1000 cars? More like 800, with repeated models (ie 15 different skyline R34's, 7 different Audi R8's, only difference being tuning really) Track list is rather short for my liking. |
17th November 2010, 12:52 | #59 |
|
Yeah I feel the same. The amount of doubled up cars and the severe lack of tracks do put a tarnish on things, I expected more from 6+ years of work. Still I cannot wait to get my hands on the game

dont forget there is a track builder in there as well. this is the reason i got my ps3, about damn time

Don't really want to get into comparing the GT series vs the Forza series, but I thought Forza 3 was pretty damn awesome.
They got the community and car customisation aspects of it very right. |

Yeh I had Forza3 but just rooted the CD, just wondering whether to buy it 2nd hand or wait for GT5

I've ...
only been preparing a just a small amount for it's release.
Finished this rig a couple of months ago especially for GT5... |
22nd November 2010, 22:11 | #70 |
|
It's funny how people flip their pedals when they make a rig, most race cars have the pedals the way they are normally
Awesome setup all the same p.s. that carpet is pretty win |

thanks. the pedals started off in the down position. But you sit quite low, which was intentional, and I ended up flipping the pedals because I ran out of room. My calculation from the wheel position to pedals was wrong. Bit of a guestimation... the end result works well. the pedal deck raises and lowers and goes forward and back. Very solid rig. If I made another I might used thinner walled tube. did a build write up on http://www.thewayiplay.com/mainforum...p?topic=1583.0 |

Nice work. Was seriously considering getting myself a premade setup and drop everything for some GT5 whorage.

Have given in and pre-ordered this, better be worth it.
For those in the UK, https://owa.lon.matscosolutions.com/...5%2f233693.htm and use coupon code XMASMEGASALE to get it for total of £32.99, everywhere else is doing £45 or so... |

Does it support driving with the playstation move??
|
24th November 2010, 12:03 | #78 |
|
The playstation move just tracks where your head is apparently and adjusts your perspective. Reviews for GT5 should be coming out on sites like ign at about 3?
|
24th November 2010, 12:10 | #79 |
|
No support for move whatsoever currently.
The PSEye can be used to track head movement. |

Grr, just wish they'd hurry up and release the HKS racing controller then.
Have it ordered on Amazon but it keeps getting delayed. First impressions of it appear to be pretty good though. |
