Earlier this evening someone posted a sweet pic of two WW2-era planes online and in a split second I was like "Front is an ME 262 dunno the exact variant, in the back I know that shape better that's a mark-twenty-something DH Mosquito". Before I could even think about it, boom info was right there.

Earlier in the day I completely misidentified a child at a school performance as my own. Princess was like, why are you waving at that random child?

I was walking back to the car with the wife after making use of both kids being on school camp and taking her out for a bite, when for supposedly no reason at all, I started humming "So alive" from Portal.

Then I started laughing.

I remembered seeing the Fire Exit signage a few minutes earlier, and something deep in the recesses decided that it looked like an Aperture Science graphic.

She just assumed I was mental.

approached one of the nurses that visits our neighbour on a daily basis and asked how her medical waste, personal medical papers and fishy smelling waste is ending up on top of our compost -- perhaps the nurses are dropping it over the fence as I didn't think the neighbour was daft enough to dump rubbish over the fence.

I mean, didn't the GOP mention retaliation many times bigger than 9/11 - surely that's a piss take.

All of yesterday my farts smelled like salami. Full on salami. Like, really good. I haven't been eating any salami but maybe it was the garlic crackers that did it.

Today I have not been farting very much so I don't know if there is still a great salami smell.

I'll eat some more garlic crackers in the days ahead and see what happens. I really hope I have great salami farts. If I do, I'll let you all know.
