Why is that? I've admittedly only glossed over the coverage but it sounds like the injury was catastrophic in nature, would a faster/better response have really made a difference? (this is the bit i haven't seen mention of in the coverage i've seen)

How long will the boost in oil output and its recent resulting drop in prices which has been accredited to fracking last I wonder.

2008 saw production drop to 1940's levels and it's rapidly ramping back up towards the peak reached around 1970.

From what I hear, it is due to Fracking.

US are fracking the fuck out of their oil fields which is allowing them to get more oil (but at a higher cost). Which means they need less from OPEC.

OPEC have decided not to cut the production of the cheaper oil, which will put pressure back on the US.

So less demand from the US, but same supply equals cheaper oil for us.
Woohoo.

On the topic of cheaper petrol, I now have to buy more petrol to get my Superhero blockheads.

It's been under $2.00 for a good two weeks near me. (Albany).

Makes for a nice change, even if it is only saving me a dollar or so in total per fill.

I wonder though whether US society would be better if an extra $1 was collected in tax and used to even the gap between the poor and middle class.

Man they fuck me off.

We dont get money from the Tithes. Yes we take an income. Where the fuck do you think that comes from.
And then all your business transactions that made you money. Where did the money come from in the first place to allow you to do that.

And then the "Tax payers don't pay our salary", yes but Tax payers subsidise all these donations that are given to you.

I know that's really only 1 bad egg, but all charities should have to disclose things like Wages/Incomes and purchases over $X.

And that would be
Brian = $250k
Hannah = $250k
The remaining 13 = $38k

They also seem to making a lot of losses.
Income of $2m, and they ended up with losses of $600k? That to me sounds wrong.

It is if you report them. If you don't they don't know about them, and find out when someone's gran breaks her hip. Needs more pavement inspectors.

The spray paint has pretty much faded since the pavement around my place was surveyed for damage. These surveys marks have been loaded into the SCRIT database for future remediation. They know it's there, just isn't a priority. Asphalt cracks with lifts of up to 40mm. Maybe I should trip and tell the quack how. It's disheartening to see the kids scootering up and down the road, stopping every second driveway to step over the mess.
