Nah, I saw some real disturbing pictures of cattle being slaughtered. It's compounded with the fact that the work that I do requires me to be around blood. Actually felt physically ill when I looked at my lunch :/ |

Now I know squat about cars, but my mum paid a lot of money to fix a transmission problem, and then a couple months later it has the exact same problem.. At what point can the blame start getting pointed at the shop for not fixing the problem?

So the new owner(s) of the mexican place in the BNZ centre foodcourt has rebranded as "Don Tacos", and all the staff now wear shirts declaring "I love Tacos". Yet there are no tacos on the menu*. Is there a secret menu like In-N-Out. Should I ask for some tacos?
* waits for someone to point out that a burrito can also be known as a taco de harina, or that it's not really the BNZ centre anymore |

What if (more likely) they fixed what they thought was the problem, which wasn't actually the problem?

I think it's safe to say their work did not hold up, unless they stated that it would recur soon before undertaking the job. Just go back to them and ask what they plan to do about it.

Reality check
Normally, when I leave work (near the airport), every man and his dog is trying to turn into one road, which backs up from a roundabout, and every now and then someone lets you in. Today I saw a police bike hoon past as I was rocking up to said intersection, and made a mental note to keep it down for a bit. Then I saw a hearse - not out of the ordinary - normally we see one on the way to the Crem place just around the corner.
But this one had a flag on the coffin. And then it was followed by another one. And another one. And several vans with lights on, and dress uniformed army chaps. I got a bit introspective and waited for a gap in the traffic. |

Shamefully addicted to $4 value pizzas from dominos, anyone know some good options for affordable food that is healthy and filling? Like stuff from a supermarket that isn't 2 minute noodles.

Now I just need a larger freezer so I can mix them up. After days of eating the same thing over and over again it gets a bit old! As for stuff you can grab from the supermarket and eat right away. A few bread rolls, a quarter of a cooked chicken/couple of hundred grams of ham/beef, a big tomato, and a small bag of salad will last you a few days for lunch.
