To be honest when he made his debut I thought he might have one good game, disappear and never be given another chance again, adding to a long line of less than 3 Test appearance All Blacks who fuck off overseas prematurely to make big money.

He did disappear badly in his 2nd test but boy has he come back with a vengeance. I really didn't think he was all that but clearly the All Black environment has had a massive effect on him, better coaching, better nutrition, better fitness training, better mentoring maybe?

He's got a vision for space and offload game I didnt think he was capable of and is actually solid under the high ball now something I had just assumed he was poor at and always would be.

According to Hansen, he is now the #1 All Black left wing. Huge props. Well done and keep up the good work Jonah Lomu version 2.0
