Well, assuming you only handle it, it poisons through ingestion and if you boil it to apply it in aerosol form it denatures.

Depends on the blend and the delivery mechanism of course - and inhalation is considered to be one of the primary hazards for people working with it (as it can get quite dusty in dry conditions).

It does still pose a lower hazard as a dermal toxicant - but not nearly as big a concern as ingestion or inhalation - not too mention the raft of other concerns (being a skin and eye irritant and a reproductive / developmental toxicant etc etc etc).

Either way it's pretty nasty stuff in general.

No stress dude - I actually worked on the reassesment for 1080 so, though not an expert, I'm reasonably knowledgable and have to deal with a lot of the anti 1080 people. This is also why I said we were surprised to not have received one of these "packages" already :-)

Man, no wonder so many people of my age are in mountains of debt.

I took out a small $3000 bank loan last year. Been paying it off at a steady rate that I'm happy with.
I get a letter from the bank today, claiming that I can 'Top Up' my loan with an extra $4000. They even attached a plastic 'Top Up' card which unashamably looks like a Vodafone top up card. It even has the same font - but instead of $20 or $40, it has $4000 written on it. All I have to do is ring the bank and say yup! and bang... $4000 more.

The accompanying letter is full of cool buzz words and phrases. Hell if it wasn't for the fact that we're talking thousands of dollars of more debt, I would be quite tempted to take the offer just from the apt wording alone!

Impressed and disgusted at the same time...

which is odd because i have a clean credit record, a measly 500 bucks on my CC which i never use, and a steady income, yet they declined letting me move my CC from 500 bucks up to 2k. yet there are people running around with 40k CC debts? wtf? maybe they declined it because they dont think they will actually get much money from me interest wise? bastards.

im not entirely, i have 2 jobs- one on my own as a PT, one as a fitness instructor. i dont do much PT hours atm cos
a) i usually train outside and its fucking cold and miserable now and
b) between working 80+ hours a fortnight, studying and training i dont have time to do other shit

still though, having a business of my own however small is fun. i get to call myself the CEO and i tell wimmin in bars i run a business. (when the gf isnt around)
