Yup, all the while the rest of the world goes the other direction. China will have to settle for the wisdom of the powerful. The rest of the world will be establishing a foundation of trust and legitimacy.

We'll see which offers the better outcomes.

Pretty much. Central bank digital currencies are an authoritarian government's dream. All they need to do is get rid of the competition.

ANON INU just went to 0.00, which I guess makes it an infinity-percent drop.

Same here. I buy 100 quid a month for the last 2 years or so. Occasionally I cash out a 600 quid so it can keep buying ETH for another 6 months. My plan is to do that till I retire and take it as a bonus to life.

I thought he just pumped the price for his earnings report so he doesn't look like an idiot and then gapped.

Pure speculation, but the timing is impeccable.

Ethereum upgrade means staking can be done on NUCs and Mac Minis. Biggest threat to GPU prices are shipping costs + chip shortages.

You're more in touch with this sort of thing than I am. What are the warning signs?

Aside from the excitement of gambling, what reason is there to have your value on an exchange?

Some tips from my accountant for buying selling in Aus CGT:
- Get private health insurance with minimum of hospital cover to avoid medicare levy from ATO
- set up a discretionary trust and buy any future crypto through that. Now friends and family can retire debt free too!

In other news, shadowy super coders win the day as US congress turns its eye of sauron onto crypto.

Malicious compliance time. DDOS time. They ask crypto traders to report any and all transactions, so now each individual can print out the blockchain and let the gubberment sift through the mountain of data.

Crimes at this scale get law enforcement signing up to your newsletter, not trying to take you down. They're probably being congratulated right now.

Was it a hack, a bug, or an inside job? If it’s the second, I’m not even sure that a crime has been committed…

Seems to have been an exploit of a poorly designed smart contract. I don't know if it was a crime either.
