Mathematics is everything I hoped it would be, and I'm starting to see fundamental concepts in a completely new light. Who knew that linear algebra and calculus involving trignometric functions could be so useful?

for years i'd seen those big pork pies in paknsave and thought i'd try them one day ... today the wife got us one each and yeah they're pretty good. she couldn't finish hers and i thought i'd be best not eating all of mine

good pastry. now i should mention that i really have no idea what a proper pork pie should be like so i can only describe what we ate. the meat was reminiscent of a bacon and egg pie (sans egg and the meat was minced) in that it's a solid block rather than chunks like a steak pie and tasted like good pork should do.
