She didn't get on till late last night but will be online from around 630pm till round about.....12pm

she is playing in fort ranik and the breech trying to do ALL of the quests there before moving on to higher areas... Makes for good farming... broke her first plat last night... and that was after she had upgraded most of her gear... she should be ready for 15k or 1.5 armour by the time shes 15 lol

There are also a few skill quests left to do and they seem easier now that she is 10 almost 11. Her pet is a stalker but she is thinking of upgrading later on.

Hi all, new member. Been playing Guild Wars for a couple of months now, trying out different characters and exploring the world. I would be really keen to join an NZ guild and get some Kiwi whoopass going on. If only there was a /haka emote.

My character's name is Jack Random though I am in a Guild at the moment but I will jump on tonight and disband it. I have a friend who also plays and would be keen to join. His character is Alric Vagabond from memory. We're both kicking around Old Ascalon (lvl10-11) and would be keen to join up and adventure with others in the area.

I have a Ranger but shes not that good for anything at the moment but has a nice wiggle when she runs

Monk is almost 20 and has I think unlocked most all of the runes and almost all of the spells for its class so once im ascended I will bounce the GvG flag

Except for the elite skills which you need to capture from bosses in out of the way locations

Alas but I have not yet left Old Ascalon with my myriad characters. My current build is a lvl 10 Mes/War who I hope to become an illusionary bladesman but he is still in his infant stage. However in time I believe he will be a worthy addition (if I stop gawking at the landscape and do some of the primary quests

). Really want to get into GvG and PvP but I feel I need some more experience playing a Mesmer under my belt (notoriously tricky devils).

Playing a mesmer in PvE is vastly different than in PvP

I most heartily agree. But sending my Mesmer into an arena with the skills I currently have would be like sending in a pea shooter instead of a howitzer. Once I have a few key skills in my bar I think I will certainly be ready to enter the fray.

Well, if you need some advice, I've been running a PvP mesmer in various forms for about 100 hours :P

I wouldnt minding pairing up with another guild, only thing is, my guild is not entirely a nz one, it has alot of players from aus and the U.S etc

It work like this, you join into an aliance, with upto 10guilds. All guilds work to provide faction points for the alliance so it can use it for influence or for purchasing stuff like parts for armor. Influence gets you towns to control. More guilds the better. Also its important to note, that much of the games PvP content is for PvE chars only, so a good mix helps alot.

Not looking to join a guild (in one), but I am keen to keep meeting up with nz'ers who are PvE'ing.

I've got 2 Characters up to Druid's Outlook (mo/n and w/me) and my primary at Thunderhead (ele/mo). I'm keen to get further on and do some questing and start capping elites as well. So, if there are any kiwis around that area (even a little bit before where I'm at) it'll be all good to get something going.

So I'm trying out a boon prot monk atm, any suggestions on how I could improve this build...

Mantra of Recall, Inspired Hex, Reversal of Fortune, Mend Condition, Guardian, Shielding Hands, Contemplation of Purity and Divine Boon? :x

Oh yeah and I've been PvPing in the 4v4 random and organised team arenas lately as Wet Mouse but haven't noticed any names from here D:
