I got a question for the NZG natural birth moms:

Does giving birth feel like shitting brick?

The experience I have today is that it feels like it is NEVER coming out. I want to claw it out with bare hands, but then my common sense kicks in. It is STUCK in there, not "in" or "out", just in between. I keep pushing and pushing but it isn't coming, until it magically does.

Is this what it feels like to push a baby out? Is this how men are supposed to experience childbirth?

Yeah, I'd been pushing for 1h30m and I finally broke down from exhaustion "zomg she's not coming out she's going to be in here foreeeeeva" styles. I'd opted for a drug free labour, so I'd expended so much energy on just working through the contractions. And pushing for so long after that...I was spent.
