Ted Cruz believes he's taking personal instructions from God, i.e. is insane.

Good point. But that's only one point - Trump is bad on so many other levels. Pity Marco Rubio dropped out, I thought he was the most sane out of the three of them. Kasich hasn't really got a hope.

Hint: when two guys are saying they want to become President in order to do Christ's work, and one guy isn't, THE GUY WHO ISN'T IS THE SANE ONE.

Not necessarily Ab. I mean, the two who are saying they want to do Christ's work don't necessarily believe what they're saying. They might just be saying it because they know that it will appeal to the religious demographic.

Minor quibbles aside though, if you want to see Bernie as the democratic nominee, but you can't vote in the elections because you're not an American, you can still phonebank (call Americans in states with an upcoming primary and encourage them to vote for Bernie) for Bernie for free.

Trump might just be saying his nativist bullshit to appeal to the nativist demographic. Works both ways.

If we assume that these people know what they're doing, should it be possible to know in such circumstances, then we might conclude that each are doing what they think will get them into power.

That may well be a generous assumption.

So what you're saying here, then, is that you think that Trump's nativist bullshit makes him just as worthy of being labelled insane as Rubio, Cruz, and Kasich's Christianity craziness?

It seems to me that pointing out that my point works both ways is only really worth doing if you think that Trump's nativist bullshit is on at least a similar level of insanity as the Christian craziness in the first place.

Geneva convention's for pussies.

Trump's already said that the way to the terrorists is "through their families".

No he's not (yet), but there were no GOP votes this weekend, so it was pretty quite on the nutjobs front.

Sanders is making some gains, Clinton some losses, but overall Clinton is still winning. The gap is shrinking, yes, but I think Clinton is going to take this thing.

It's not just that Clinton's ahead, it's that she's ahead of where she needs to be and Sanders is behind where he needs to be. Doesn't matter that he's making gains if the required run rate is against him.

Clinton in 2016: "No debates until Sanders starts being nicer."

Clinton in 2008: "you should be willing to debate anytime, anywhere.”

Trump 2016: "lol."

She believes it's her turn, and all this political bullshit is just getting in the way.

Luckily for her, there's some superdelegates that agree with that.

http://www.thestranger.com/slog/2016...f-state-voters

Quote:
A whopping seventy-two percent of Washington Democrats voted for Bernie Sanders in the state's caucus on Saturday. The socialist Senator from Vermont won every single county in the state.

But Governor Jay Inslee, a superdelegate who can cast his own vote for whoever he wants at the national convention in July, isn't budging on his support for Sanders' opponent, Hillary Clinton.

True, but there was always a thought that it would take Sanders a bit longer to build up steam. He needed to start winning a few for the media to cover him a bit more, and it's possible that that has started.
Based on that link, he's due to win the next 2 comfortably, and if he can win New York (which he is down to do) then that could get him more time.

He just needs to get more support from black americans.

Actually? He needs to get some superdelegates on side. That is what's going to sink him.

If he starts getting more popular and winning more. He will get them. But yes, that might be the final straw for him

If Clinton and Sanders go into the convention neck and neck (or Sanders slightly ahead), they will have to be very careful picking Clinton.
As is said, the left benefit from a higher voter turnout, and a lot of the Sanders voters could stay home that day.

There's a lot of stuff at that link. You're going to have to point out to me the part that says Sanders will win the next two primary/caucuses, because I can't see it.

It's far from a win, but it does seem that the longer this campaign goes, the closer the gap gets.

Nate Silver could be wrong this election. There are more factors involved than how voters might vote.

Trump further isolated himself with that abortion comment.

The Democrat race all depends on whether or not the super delegates with change or not, and if it's close then that will depend in who polls say will do best against trump head up

Bill Clinton said Thursday he changed his allegiance to Barack Obama during the 2008 election — and suggested he’d do the same for Bernie Sanders should he be the front-runner this time.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/poli...icle-1.2584140

Which is actually very positive, given that he's happy to go in the direction that the people point. It goes against those superdelegates that have stuck with Hilary despite their population voting Sanders.

Closing the gap has certainly been the trend, but I don't think the gap can be closed quick enough. Time is running out.

Which is good. Because Sanders is bad for NZ.

I cant do images. Half way done the page is a list of all the states and what has happened, and what they expect to happen.

Wisconsin - The are expecting a 48 to 38 win for Sanders
Wyoming 9 to 5 win to Sanders
New York 125 to 122 win to Sanders
