Ok, Erazhure & I signed up for tonights game which appears like its going to be a heads up. I've also setup a tournament for Sunday 11th 8:30pm recurring every fortnight.

Not that it is much in terms of other people, but I have finally had a big win online.
$2 game, I got 2nd for $570.
Its nice to get more than my usually 2/3/4 times return when I get there.

My game felt good throughout. I got lucky on 2 occassions where it was 30/70 odds, and a couple of times when I was leading all in PF, they hit the flop, then I hit the river.

Now to work on getting there again.

Thats one of my issues too. Its getting the time to be able to pkay longer games. The game was 4 hours, and the main reason I kept playing was because I became chip leader, and the payout was big.
Otherwise I probably would have just closed it, and let myself blind out for a small payout.

Just got 3rd in the same $2.20 game. Netted myself another $400+.

I thought I got to 2nd. I was at about the same chip count as the other guy. Got him to match my all in when I had trips. Thought a blank river came, did a fist pump, then wondered why the chips went to him. I realised he hit his flush.

yeah I linked my accounts up, but soon I was able I transferred back to PokerStars. Have really got into pokerstars online school this week. Been trying to climb the league ladder but pretty much suck.

Also been playing in the NZ freerolls for the Big Game weekly league.

Anyone have access to restart the home games?

Am contemplating getting back into playing part time. but waiting for the Yanks to be allowed back on. Shouldnt be too far away now.

Also, im living with "beef" again (from our online home games for those who remember) and he wants to play some again.
So, if there's interest we could throw something up

i have no bankroll, so only playing open league freerolls and occasionally 10 FPP bronze star tourneys. but next week I'm going back to work, so won't be doing it full time like I have been this week.

they allow players from the US as long as it's play money only. someone was saying you can set up home club games in play money but have offline prize structures in real money. that way ps don't charge a fee either.

Obviously covid hasn't helped, but whats the poker scene in Auckland like these days?

I tried a bit of googling but shit all came up. Its like there is more poker (tournaments) happening in the Wairarapa rather than Auckland.

I'm keen to find somewhere to start playing again.
