so, using the formula they provide, we find that it takes about 740 feet (225 metres) to stop if you're doing 112 mph, or 176kmh. in good weather, on a quality road. now maybe if you were in a Lotus seven or a porsche, the brakes could make a sizeable difference, but you aren't.

The way it unfolded is that I was at the bar and Akane comes up and just stands next to me. I didn't recognise him so there was no reason to be suspicious.
