Based on the stats I deal with, so we're talking NZ/AU usage patterns rather than worldwide, mobile web activity is split about 75% iOS, 15% Android; mobile email activity about 95% iOS, 5% Android; mobile ecommerce 100% iOS, 0% Android. And that's with the Australian smartphone OS market share being something like 30% iPhone 60% Android.

Hardly any of those Android smartphone owners do anything other than send SMS and make calls.

What do you iOS users use for media playback?

I usually use GoodPlayer, but they've had to remove various audio codecs due to licensing issues.

It's just a TV episode in an AVI wrapper, but I think the audio codec must be one that they've removed recently. (DTS/AC-3/E-AC-3/TrueHD)
