Can anyone play lock?

We might need you to fly to France at short notice. Chris Jack, Reuben Thorne and Keith Robinson all injured.

I'm guessing Rawlinson would be the next cab off the rank. He's been playing well, and is a big bastard.

Yeah, because getting a red card in a World Cup match has got to be a winning tactic.

We'd love George if he was on our side. Even if he's a bit older and a bit slower these days, he's still a crafty little fucker.

Gregan is definitely a class player. He just needs a backhand to keep his mouth shut during games.

No no we have it all sorted...apparently mealamu and haymen are able to cover lock off the bench for the portugal game.

The bench includes four front-rowers with Carl Hayman the likely cover at lock, while Keven Mealamu was a loose forward in his younger days, before converting to hooker.
Shame on you Inc, locks aren't loosies. I presume they mean that Mealamu would come on at 6 and Collins would move to the second row.

Could be worse, the poms are starting Andy Farrell at first five against South Africa - wtf ! Bad luck is one thing but with Wilkonson in the squad you would think they would have had better backup.

Definitely. The sign of an opposition's good player is that you hate them.
