AB's squad vs Ireland

So, who's keen to make some predictions?

My predictions. I haven't really watched a lot of rugby.

Ben Franks
Owen Franks
Wyatt Crockett
Tony Woodcock
Kevin Mealamu
Hika Elliot
Andrew Hore/Dane Coles
Sam Whitelock
Ali Williams
? Lock
Jarrad Hoeata
Matt Todd
Keiran Read
Richie McCaw
Victor Vito
Adam Thomson

Andy Ellis
Aaron Smith
Piri Weepu
Dan Carter
Aaron Cruden
Ma'a Nonu
Richard Kahui
Robbie Fruean
Conrad Smith
Cory Jane
Hosea Gear
Andre Taylor
Israel Dagg
Lelia Masaga

Can't really think of someone to replace Kaino at 6, unless they get one of our 7's to play there.

No place at all for SBW, don't see the point in putting him in the squad when he's leaving. We have plenty of capable backs who are loyal. I think Guilford is a choker.

I would pick SBW on form.

I'd like to see Charlie Faumuina & Messam in the squad. Would replace Ali Williams with maybe Tom Donnelly or Brodie Retallick.

Does SBW actually do much or just play for the high flying chiefs? I've watched the last two games of the Chiefs, hunting out SBW because I want to pick apart his game. But he just doesn't really seem to feature.

Whatever our backline ends up being, it's going to be exciting...

Be funny if Cruden plays at 10 and Carter at 12 and SBW and Nonu both miss out on a starting spot

I'd love to see Hansen give some young bolters game time...otherwise we are going to be SA RWC 2011...tired old men

Well he has definitely picked some bolters to get involved with the squad. Think Taylor is the most unlucky to miss out, but seems to be the least mentioned.

Blues
Charlie Faumuina, Ma'a Nonu, Keven Mealamu, Piri Weepu, Ali Williams and Tony Woodcock.

Chiefs
Sam Cane, Aaron Cruden, Richard Kahui, Tawera Kerr-Barlow, Brodie Retallick, Ben Tameifuna and Sonny Bill Williams.

Hurricanes
Beauden Barrett, Cory Jane, Julian Savea, Brad Shields, Conrad Smith and Victor Vito.

Crusaders
Daniel Carter, Wyatt Crockett, Israel Dagg, Andy Ellis, Ben Franks, Owen Franks, Richie McCaw, Kieran Read, Luke Romano, Luke Whitelock and Samuel Whitelock.

Highlanders
Tamati Ellison, Andrew Hore, Aaron Smith, Ben Smith and Adam Thomson.

With the exception of Kev Mealamu, not one of those Auckland players deserves to be in the squad.

I'd like to see Weepu/Cruden start the 3rd test.

Fark. Hard luck Ireland, you guys played well. Unlucky not to at least get a draw.

I thought when Wepu came on he kept a cool head, took control and got us back on track.

We lacked intensity and focus..plus the ref ignored the Irish cheating all night laying all over the ball slowing it down

<3 Nonu but SBW is in fucken awesome form and has been all season. Apart from his initial fumble of the ball (which seems to happen nearly every match atm).

Ali Williams needs to chillax a bit more.

Weepu on the bench for when he plays best for the ABs, during 'oh shit panic stations' times.

Did you not watch the post match stuff? The ref stepped right in the way, and Weepu had to pas over him. Was quite funny they searched for the footage, showed it perfectly and then said to lay off Weepu about that pass.

Weepu's getting picked for the haka by the looks of it. There must be 4 better halfbacks in this year's Super rugby.
