V - Liking it so far. Was good to see two Firefly actors in it

Castle - Loving it. Nathan Fillion is awesome

Fringe - Pretty good. Easy to watch and is going somewhere

FlashForward - They seem to be milking it a bit, get on with it already

Stargate Universe - Please start doing more interesting stuff other than that creepy body swap fake sex

It's actually pretty good. Corbett's exceptionally average, but it's the others who make it work.

Of course, they're all given a lot of time beforehand to think up their off-the-cuff answers I imagine, but it's still better than anything else on at that time.

Final Curb = meh. The build up to the reunion episode may have spoiled the actual delivery.

That maybe the case, but normally the 3rd person on each team (the ones that are one offs or not on there often) say hardly anything.
The girls have always sucked and there have been times that have said nothing.

I don't know how much they are given before hands, but I do believe it is edited down to make it look quick. I reckon the actual thing would be twice as long.

Its a great show. I hope it sticks around and doesn't turn to crap.

we went to the filming - runs for about 3 and a half hours...apparently they get the material the day before filming so they have a bit of time to think about it. I actually enjoyed the filming more than the TV show - its just like a 3 hour stand up comedy set. I didn't get tired of it at all!

I got the impression that there are a lot of games that don't cut it. (Especially based on the "Points" not adding up).

Theres a bit of fluffing around, retakes of intros (not the jokes) and other stuff. I'd say it be at least 2/3rds of it is actual show though.

And yeah, there are a few segments which don't make it, so they make it kind of generic so they can juggle for time and position

really interesting to see how it all operates behind the scenes though. Its filmed at The Transmission room in Auckland, I think you need an invite to go, but its free...

Dr Who - Dreamland was an interesting CG cartoon, well, the kids liked it.

The Children in Need special doesn't add a lot, although it did mention that he pissed around a bit before meeting up with Ood Sigma - including getting married. Maybe that's how they are going to explain the River Song bit and the modified sonic screwdriver she had - or she was actually involved with a future incarnation (I think her comments when she recognised him were along those lines).
