I recently had a blood screen that showed that my Toxoplasmosis has reactivated ten years after my last positive test

I just wrote a bloody thesis about it, in an attempt to explain why I'm not wanting to take on more hours to my employers. I hope they take it on board, and don't assume I'm a lazy tart.

It turns out I didn't need to write the thesis after all. They're not wanting me to take on extra hours, just to shuffle them a bit. Whew!

Drinking water contaminated with Toxoplasma.
Transplacental infection in utero.

Especially that last one. Admit it - your real mother was a sick cat.

Are you sure that your actual (biological) mother was not a cat which ate another cat's poo? You can never be too careful about these things. It would explain a few things as well...

This is the exception rather than the rule. I've no idea why you would go to such lengths to keep going on about something which is clearly a minority occurence and not even relevant to the topic at hand (careless teens popping out babies) but I suspect it's because a) you think you're this really smart, against-the-grain, coming-from-leftfield guy who is always coming up with stuff that nobody else has thought of and b) you're a douche.

i just wanted her to think about that
...and perhaps avoid an unplanned pregnancy

3 of the women on our antenatal ended up with unplanned pregnancies
(although 2 of them were not taking the pill because they wrongly believed that you couldnt get pregnant whilst breastfeeding.)

And your method for doing that is acting like a cumbag? You could always enquire as to her train of thought (much like I did) rather than take her words at absolute face value.

Like I said - exception to the rule. Talking about the exception for the rule doesn't merit discussion, which is why I believe you have this compulsion to always show people up.

Also, those 2 women who weren't taking the pill because they thought you can't get pregnant while breastfeeding are clearly stupid, so it's perhaps not even worth mentioning them...

The 48 Film Festival screening was last night at Reading

I was blown away at how awesome the video my brother-in-law made with his friends was. The audience was roaring with laughter and clapping. It was great!

And kinda cool to see Mish and I up there being part of it
