Do we know what happened with Gamora? It seemed like she survived, but I can't remember if we saw her with the GotG?

Well she's "past Gamora yanked into the present", so she neither knows nor gives a shit about the Guardians. She bailed after Thanos's death and I guess GotG3 is going to be Quill's attempt to track her down and Fifty First Dates her.

Is Loki having the tesseract in 2012 going to be a problem?

I'm happy to not just not know, but to not even wonder about those things. One of the things that I really dislike about Ridley Scott's Prometheus/Covenant is that they attempt to explain shit I didn't need to know about. I don't care how the eggs got there, I don't care who the space jockey was, look he had his dance with Peggy and now he's old with a ring. I'm good.

Noir Spiderman outfit, Mysterio with the fishbowl helmet, and multiverses that may or may not just be a Mysterio red herring.
Looks awesome, and I'm glad to have it be like an epilogue for Endgame.

The irony of Tom Holland giving a spoiler warning.

What lolled me about that warning? Saw the trailer sans-warning while waiting for Endgame to start

First Rule of Spidey comics is never believe anything Mysterio says.

I'm hoping the girl power scene was an A-Force reference. Cause that would suggest Secret Wars is going to be the focus of Phase 4 which means Doctor Doom.
(Disclaimer: I was too poor to be a comic book nerd growing up, just stuff I've gleaned online.)

I feel there's an "I am Spider-Man" moment coming in Far From Home, in a similar vein to Stark's "I am Iron Man".
It's not like secret identities have been a mainstay of the MCU.

TIL that the most influential film in recent cinematic history is Elf.

What I found exciting is how Disney+ content is pretty much going to be MCU canon (unlike Agents of Shield.)

Went again on Sunday. Still teared up a bit for Tony Stark's death. Just so well-played by RDJ. On second viewing Thor was much more sad than he felt on the first viewing, in which he was a bit sight-gaggy. His sadness and fear were much more evident this time around.

Finally got to see this.
My main disappointment - I took so long to see it, there were only 5 people in the cinema and I think it took away some of the epicness. Although I do find it cringeworthy clapping at the end of the movie. So I probably need to find that sweetspot in the middle. I really loved the story, and while there were some obvious moments there was so much new in the story. Interesting way to get Gamora back |

I was absolutely floored that they decided to do the incredibly dangerous and choose time travel as their go-to resolution mechanic. So many movies have tried and failed, or left riddled with plot holes.

The hilarious piece here is when people start twigging to the full multiverse potential: Was that Earth 199999 Cap that showed up all old at the end, or one from another Earth with a mostly the same timeline, while E199999 Cap, say, turned out to be immortal, goes back and ends up becoming some crazy global dictator or something because He Knows Best.

Sony rep's are saying the negotiation's aren't over yet.
Everyone's initial reaction on Reddit was "How are the Avengers going to continue without Spiderman?!" so I guess Sony were thinking the same thing. Who's got more to lose, etc.

No, it's a law of the universe like entropy and conservation of momentum. Sony Entertainment are cunts and will ruin everything they touch.

'Highest-grossing film' is a useless statistic if the figure is not adjusted for inflation. Last time I checked, Gone with the Wind was still the true champ.
'Number of tickets sold' is a better metric (and GwtW still wins).
