The only roundabout that I recall as being memorable was one that I drove across, having not realised it was a roundabout.

How did this happen? At the time, I was wondering "what the fuck is this thing in front of me"? What it wasn't was a raised up circle - you know, the internationally accepted concept of a roundabout. Much later, I realised it must have been a "clever" idea for what a roundabout could be. Could be, but isn't...

Finally watched A Clockwork Orange Wednesday night. I'd have to say I found it watchable but only average. I didn't get a whole lot out of it and I wasn't particularly entertained. I've slowly been working my way through movies on the IMDB top 250. I watched Into the Wild recently and that one blew me away. Recommend it to anyone.

Petrol prices have dropped again, w00t! That means I can chug-a-lug round in my gas guzzling, hippy crushing truck a bit more. All you cunts can still keep off my road, though.

Only one Corolla? So you're on your first car, it's a Corolla, and you won't buy another one??

Found this article rather interesting. Seems to indicate that a 'knowledge economy' is most likely to be illusion.

I saw the last X-Files movie the day it was released, obviously I'm getting old and don't move as quick as I used to. Today is the second day, 10 years later, but I'm gonna go see that shit.

I Want To Believe!

Something to do in this shitty wet weather.

Anyone else noticed how much those shitty Sunday Star Times ads resemble the Woman's Day ads in tone? I know the rag is just a fluff-filled Sunday tabloid masquerading as intelligent journalism, but it's like they're not even trying to maintain the facade.

The price of a government that doesn't make doing business easy. Far easier to outsource jobs overseas than it is to bother with all the regulations and more importantly, taxation here.

^ that's just a cop-out, something telecom like to do. instead of employing people like they used to do and provide people with a job to be proud of, they take on an employment agency who then employs rules such as not being able to converse with workmates when you're on the job. citel employees end up having to throw each other balls of secret notes scribbled on note paper.
