WTB: Fighting Fantasy gamebooks

I’m looking to rebuild my old collection of the Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone Fighting Fantasy gamebooks from the 80s and 90s. I’ll consider buying single books or larger lots. If you have any you’re willing to part with, flick me an email: cursor at gee mail dot com.

Used to have so many of these! Sadly all lost to the sands of time.

My favorite one was the mad max ripoff.

I wish I had a collection of my own. Loved those books as a kid.

I could probably go through Deathtrap Dungeon without a wrong turn, I knew that book so well back on the day. I still have that, Warlock of Firetop Mountain, and Jackson’s solo Khare: Cityport of Traps somewhere, but never parting with them.

Good luck Ajax!

Man, I just remembered the smell of the pages of Warlock when it was new.

Well, a few weeks later and after much trawling through charity shops and musty second-hand books stores, I've picked up about 25 books out of the original Puffin set of 59. Numbers 1 to 10 in the series are reasonably easy to find (especially Starship Traveller, which seems to be the most common of all) but beyond that they're quite scarce - and usually in poor condition with writing on the adventure sheets, water spots, creasing etc. The later books from about #45 onwards are very difficult to find as they were generally printed in smaller numbers. I think it may take years before I complete the set.

Nice one!

You could try Book Depository or AbeBooks if you're willing to roll the dice with quality descriptions and shipping fees.
