At this early stage is seems like Trump wins 2020, with Bernie and Biden splitting the vote opposing Trump?

Nope, Bernie won't run as an independent, he will run under the Democrats.
So only Biden or Bernie will be the nominee

I'm more curious to know who will run against Trump for the Republican ticket. There are many Republicans coming out against Trump's actions, but I don't think any of them will have the balls to actually do something about it.

For the Democratic nomination, it's probably going to be like the '12 and '16 Republican fiascos.. dozens go in, one comes out.

There's a chance the Republicans may not nominate Trump. However, I don't think that's very likely.

All these calls for impeachment are just plain annoying. It'll never happen with the GOP controlling the senate.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/...ump-taxes.html

Quote:
Newly obtained tax information reveals that from 1985 to 1994, Donald J. Trump’s businesses were in far bleaker condition than was previously known. While The Times did not obtain the president’s actual tax returns, it received the information contained in the returns from someone who had legal access to it.
Quote:
The numbers show that in 1985, Mr. Trump reported losses of $46.1 million from his core businesses — largely casinos, hotels and retail space in apartment buildings. They continued to lose money every year, totaling $1.17 billion in losses for the decade.
Quote:
In fact, year after year, Mr. Trump appears to have lost more money than nearly any other individual American taxpayer, The Times found when it compared his results with detailed information the I.R.S. compiles on an annual sampling of high-income earners. His core business losses in 1990 and 1991 — more than $250 million each year — were more than double those of the nearest taxpayers in the I.R.S. information for those years.
His core business losses were more than double those of the nearest taxpayers in the I.R.S. information for those years.

Literally the worst business man in America, by definition. Like, he was it. Who lost the most money in America? He did. Him.

So he's either the worst business man ever, or the entire enterprise is a money laundering front.

It was a tax loophole that he was taking advantage of, since closed.
Quote:
Mr. Trump structured his companies to allow him to have lucrative personal tax advantages, while limiting his personal liability should business go bad.
-snip-
At the time, many businesses, particularly real estate ventures, were structured similarly, with the goal of protecting owners from losing personal money should their businesses go bust. But Mr. Trump was playing on a vastly different scale than most; his leverage was the stuff of legend.
Unethical? Perhaps.
Unfair to other taxpayers? Probably.
Legal? Borderline.

"Worst businessman by definition" ignores the fact that despite all those declared "losses" he is still solvent and wealthy. Maybe "worst taxpayer by definition" is more accurate.

In the meantime:

White House purges press credentials

Quote:
I was part of a mass purge of “hard pass” holders after the White House implemented a new standard that designated as unqualified almost the entire White House press corps, including all seven of The Post’s White House correspondents. White House officials then chose which journalists would be granted “exceptions.” It did this over objections from news organizations and the White House Correspondents’ Association.

Out of the Democratic candidates I've seen in some polling (up against Trump), Joe appears to have the best shot at beating him. Of course, all the polls said Hillary would win in 2016, and we all know how that turned out.

Consider fuckwit GW Bush - that guy was an utter buffoon, no doubt.

Was there anything of this level of malice against him? Where was the media? They licked his ass. The occasional comic months after the fact... but he was an obvious asshole with an obvious agenda.

Now we have Trump, an outsider, doing what he said he would. And there hasn't been a day gone by where they have not thrown shit at him, and nothing's sticking. Total panic. He's bringing it all down.

At least, that's how I see it. I may be wrong. If I am, God help whoever replaces him, because that country is fucked. But there is a plan, and I believe it's obvious to anyone to bothers to take the time to look. Who's it gonna be? Bernie Sanders free for all, trillions more for healthcare and free college? Cory Booker the anti trump the cock eyed black man? Creepy Sleepy Joe Biden the serial groper? Kamala Harris? Tulsi Gabbard? Just because women power? Nope, Trump to deal with the Fed debt (how else can they repay TRILLIONS when their manufacturing is done overseas and 1% of the population gets the cream?).

If Trump loses, I'll shout drinks to whoever turns up in the 04. Not a Liz Shaw bullshit promise, but a genuine celebration of me being wrong and the world going down the gurgler. It'll probably be just me and crocos if he doesn't have a board game date that night, but the sentiment is there. I trust my instinct. You guys are lightweights anyway, it will hardly cost much. All I ask is a Kilkenny and a wicked wing snack box.

lol YouTube has now adjusted the Federal Reserve search results.

It used to be that you would search for Federal Reserve and it would show all the fractional reserve banking/you're a slave to debt sort of videos that we've probably all seen plenty of times in the past. Now the top results are the MSM news reports on the latest rate cuts, etc.

In response to MSNBC complaint

Care to take a guess what's coming?

HENCE WHY FOREVER ALONE

TLDR version: There is a plan to get rid of the private Western central banks which are corrupt and not operating in the interests of the people. [Trust the plan]. Gold will replace the US Federal Reserve "debt note" as the reserve currency. [Gold will destroy the Fed]

Some background: There is a push to audit the fed and some people propose that if criminality/corruption is found, Trump (or whoever else that may win and has the balls to push it) can/will declare the US debt to the Federal Reserve as invalid, and/or confiscate assets in the case of corruption. Note it covers human trafficking and corruption. There is a big focus on human trafficking, with even the Pope speaking out against it. Apparently human trafficking makes more money than narcotics trafficking these days. MUCH bigger than people are comfortable with.

Trump being the master of benefiting from bankruptcy, is the prime candidate for this sort of move. The Federal Reserve is owned by private interests [a collection of private banks], so the banks/bankers stand to lose "bigly".

There is a huge push in the US for "sound money" (backed by gold) rather than fiat money (printed on a whim by bankers who even then charge interest on their created currency), so there is talk of a move back to the gold standard, and getting rid of privately owned central banks. It would need to be done worldwide, with other countries needing to get on board to get rid of their central banks. It's much easier to list countries without a Rothschild central bank, and you may find the list of names familiar: In 2000 it was Afghanistan, Iraq, Sudan, Libya, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, Iran. Today it's Cuba, North Korea, Iran and Syria. [Confessions of an Economic Hitman talks about how countries get put into debt by central banks and effectively taken over economically].

China, Russia, and many other countries are stocking up on gold, the gold price (in dollars) has been rising, and paranoid preppers are all buying gold/silver as "insurance", since money printing = diluting the value of your dollars. Even the zero/negative interest rate environment makes gold an attractive asset to use as wealth insurance. The advice has been get /some/ gold or silver, typical suggestions are 10% of your wealth - I am not a financial adviser, YMMV, don't overcommit, etc. The point is not to make money from trading gold as the price rises, but to not be left with a collection of Zimbabwe bucks that no one wants when the confidence disappears. The price of gold rising just means your dollars are actually losing value - the true measure of inflation, not the diddled CPI statistics that exclude such realities as house price inflation.

Traditionally, gold has been used as the true reserve currency, and the US going off the gold standard in 1971 was meant to be a temporary measure. While most of us have grown up in a "USD reserve currency" world, this arrangement is, as far as I understand, actually an anomaly in history.

Whomever you copied and pasted from really has no idea, do they?

Gold: The paranoid preppers are a tiny, tiny percentage of the market, the biggest increase is from consumer electronics manufacturers. Even countries are being pressured to release some of their gold reserves for manufacture of electronic consumer BS.
