Yeah, CNN have now called PA as well, based on <1% of the votes being counted.

I guess they decide that since even the very small amount of votes counted follow the same pattern as the exit polls that it's safe to call it. All because they're in a mad race to be first to call the next president, even if they end up being wrong.

Interesting point on MSNBC just now: for all the hype, Obama still hasn't yet taken a previously-red state. So far, the election looks exactly like 2004 - where the Dems lost.

Obama ahead in Florida, North Carolina, Ohio. McCain ahead in Missouri and Indiana.

The networks won't "call" any state they've pre-decided as a battleground until the last minute though, since that's where they're most likely to be wrong.
