Not sure if this is really in the right thread, but hey..
Anyone know of any reasonably priced American stores that ship internationally? |

IMO there is no point in getting PC parts from the US as we can get them pretty damb cheap here in NZ. You would probably end up paying more if your were to get parts from the US.
otherwise have a look at www.outpost.com |

EDIT: No sooner did I post this, I notice the sneaky little +gst hidden away at the top of the table. Making your prices even less..."cheapest" Fix your site dude. It's awful in most every way. The backgrounds, (sorry but putting an animated Matrix gif as a background, make's you neither l337 nor "with it". It just looks crap and detracts from the content.) the layout, the colour scheme. All of it. Last edited by Hazmat : 26th May 2003 at 00:15. |

Also, the ol' spell checker wouldn't go amiss.
That is if you want 'costumers' that you want to 'sale' stuff too. Maybe 'touching up' some phrases: "Please do not hesitate to ask if you got further questions" Sounds like your from the wrong side of the tracks and doesn't sound proffessional at all. "Aye oop there Guv'nah - gots a bob ta spare?" "Please help us keep your prices low!" Sounds like it's in Engrish. Why are we helping you keep OUR prices low? The customer doesn't have 'prices' to keep low - you do! "How did you found out about us?" Ummm..... |

So anyone dealth with Paradigm PC's? I'm thinking of ordering a couple of machines from em and want to know if they're all cool in the service and promptness departments. I live in Auckland so need it shipped up here. They're the only ones I've found that can get me all the stuff I need at a good price and don't want some outfit that's gonna takes months to get me stuff and disk me around.

Thing is noone in Auckland that I've looked at:
1) Have or can get all the stuff I want - i.e good, fast ram like Corsair or GEIL, PC3500, dual channel 2x512MB, P4 2.8ghz and Abit Ic7 mobo 2) If they can get some of the parts, they have no idea when it will come in. Oh poor me If I could find someone who had the RAM in auckland I'd just pick up bits from everywhere. Ash |

Have you asked any of them if they can get those parts in? Try emailing them and asking them if they can get those parts if you haven't.

Yeah I rang several and emailed others. Now I'm sure I didn't ring every computer store in Auckland, but I went through several that were on pricespy. A lot just said they didn't deal in RAM like that, and NFC only get Kingston but could take a week but they don't really know. So I read that as anytime in the future as that's been my experience with shops in the past.

In a similar vein to Bread's post above, I'm looking for any hardware stores (general electronics, 'puters etc) in Malaysia. If anybody has any links I'd be appreciative.
And yes, while I wait I will be googling |

Anyway, if you had a bad experience with them a while ago I reckon they'd be worth a second look as they have revamped themselves. I ordered a couple of things recently and both were ready in 1 or 2 days. Both the mobo and psu work great. |
