Went to The Observatory restaurant in the Sky Tower last night for my Nana & Pappy's birthday(yes, they're born on the same day, married 52 years now, she's 74 and he's 76), never had some much cray/prawn/oysters in my life. $1200 bill for 13 people. Such an awesome night, only about a 1/3 of the family could make it, a lot overseas and short notice.

Little under $100 a head isn't bad for that kind of place.

I'd say less than $100 on alcohol, not many people had a drink. Couple of people weren't into seafood so waited for the buffet to open/be allowed. Was very good p/head considering. We thought it'd be about $1500 min.

Every morning I see red light runners at the end of the Nelson St off-ramp. Enough for a collision if the guy with the green light is assuming it's all clear and have seen a few hairy moments because of that fact.

Today I saw a policeman on a motorcycle conspicuously behind a pole being very attentive to the traffic. Sure enough, a culprit in one of those luxury 4WD behemoth things zooms through a red light only to get stuck at the next red light 80 metres or so down the road. Mr policeman comes out from hiding and creeps up behind him, bam! Surprise!

Free stuff OMG. I'm not even a fan of lollies, but I still get excited every time I get given a fresh supply when I visit the office. Today was a 2kg bag of giant jaffas and about 20 bags of other lollies.. along with a whole bunch of netball related stuff too. I think my friends are getting sick of the lollies though? I know my husband is.. But I'll still take them, cause they're FREE!!!

Nah, no jellybeans. Mostly the natural confectionary co. (soft jubes, snakes, dinosaurs), jet planes and then the HUGE bag of giant jaffas.. The only ones I like of the lot are the purple jet planes..
