I tried watching episode four while eating a sandwich. It was a really bad idea, I nearly choked a couple of times.

It was such a good commentary on Western Christianity though, I thought.

Gonna miss OF. Has been a good tradition round here to put the feet up and have a few drinks while having a laugh. Has been good to watch at least one thing local that was actually decent.

Will be interesting to see if 'The Johnson Boys' can replace it next year. The promo has some promise.

ps. If you enjoyed it too, do the right thing and buy the box set or individual dvds! Don't leech local.

pps. How good is Boardwalk atm. Top watch.

Judging by the many OF related status updates in my FB news feed, it doesn't sound like many people were pleased with how it ended. I'm not sure how else they could have done it to be honest though? Apart from maybe Wolf making an appearance... but that would have been too obvious..

I like walking dead...but i think i'm gonna wait till heaps more episodes come out and then just watch it in consecutive hits because I just always end up really wanting to see what happens next!

It's what I did for Dead Set and really enjoyed watching it that way.

I'm the same ?>Superman. Much prefer to watch a series back to back. Was just saying to a mate the other day I wish I'd not known about Boardwalk for a bit longer. Breaks suck.
TBH can't say I'm too fussed about TWD though. It's good, but not hanging out for it just yet.

Also, kinda gutted for Cody gassing out vs Nam. I reckon he would have finished Nam if he was still fighting fit. Nam's got great shots.. but meh.

That stuff with Aaron was just a cover up because of her feelings for Judd and the fact they slept together.
Cheryl got out of jail because an internal police report revealed that Gerard was a dodgy fucker and had complaints in the past about similar behaviour (stalking Pascalle)..
Van married the Russian chick.
Pascalle and Judd are leaving town together to live happily ever after.
Wolf did not make an appearance.
The episode itself ended with Cheryl looking around the lounge with all her friends enjoying the bogan wedding reception (all in slow-mo), then she steps outside and has a fag.

There was no way that Wolf should have come back. They dealt with wolf in season 5, and Loretta made the comment that they are all better since the start when they were "going straight".
I enjoyed it. It was very much like other episodes and season finals. They did do anything stupid.

Yeah, I've done that for a few things. I watched the last season of Heroes within the space of a couple of weeks. It made things more interesting. I don't know if I could do it with a show that I am enjoying.

I don't think the storyline is as intense as last season, and I'm not actually that much of a fan of Julia Stiles BUT.. I'm still enjoying it, because it's Dexter..

I am enjoying it, but there does seam to be something off about it at the moment. I feel much like what happened in the later bond films. The writers have mistaken luck for skill.

Dexter has never been as lucky in any other season on a weekly basis which I feel does take away something from Dexter’s character.

I can certainly understand that point, but you must admit it does make for some serious suspense.

I think there's been a fairly steady trend towards greater spontaneity throughout the seasons of Dexter in terms of his character development. So his taking more risks that result in a wider variety of lucky saves seems to me to be a natural consequence of said development. I think it's actually a really great way of developing the story. If there wasn't some kind of development like this going on in the way his character behaves then the show would quickly become uninteresting to me I think.

In conclusion, it's a fucken awesome show, I think they're getting it spot on. If you're not getting it, well, bummer for you.
