It will be interesting to see what kind of treatment this will get:
3 Body Problem | Official Teaser | Netflix It's a great cast, it'll be interesting to see how they manage to present the ideas of the story.

Binged watched season 6 of Black Mirror. I quite like the first episode and the 3rd was okay. I found the rest weren't really inline with the usual future technology theme.

Silo E09
The shots with the "real" world always have those same birds in that obvious formation. So what kind of... silo-in-a-silo situation is going on?

How is Silo? The plot reads like Logan's Run meets Fallout.

The show is about the significance of technology, the power of knowledge. Rule of law. Sympathetic, competent characters. Great acting all around.

Ep 10 ending wasn't exactly what I expected, but not too far off. Really glad it's been renewed for S02 coz I'd love to see what they do with it. Quote:

Now fully aware Sheriff Hoston’s body is beneath her (even though she can’t see it), Juliette lays his badge on him and keeps moving forward. Taking the deaths in and wondering why she, too, hasn’t dropped to the ground yet, she looks at the tape on her suit and repeats the line from Walker’s note: “They’re good in supply.” Walker ensured her suit was fitted with her high-quality heat tape, and in the end, it saved her life. As Juliette reaches the top of the hill and looks out at a lush grassy meadow, flowers, trees, and birds, Bernard reaches the server room, opens his “18” key, and disables Juliette’s beautiful display, revealing everyone’s biggest fear. The desolate, barren world seen from inside the silo is, in fact, reality. And with a city far in the distance and dirt and dead bodies surrounding her, Juliette has no choice but to keep walking. As the camera pans, we see the ground before her is full of other silo entrances, and somehow we’re left with even more questions than when we began. https://decider.com/2023/06/30/silo-...outside-recap/ |

Witcher Season 3 seems ... off. Not the same as S01 and S02, and I can't quite put my finger on what's different.

I'm digging the new Star Trek. It's a very shiny production with a good classic sci-fi vibe. Competent characters. Anson Mount is great as Captain Pike and I'm digging the power couple.

re-watching Warrior, throughly enjoying it. The first time around I was living my previous life, I remember nothing. Excellent viewing. Mai Ling is soooo beautiful *faints*

Olivia Colman is carrying Secret Invasion. There's not much else going on in the show that's cool.

I don't care much about the Witchers big plotlines - it all seems a bit ho hum. In hindsight I think I would have preferred a lot more self contained witcher eps (like the dragon one from the first season, or hunting the creature in the house)
Geralt and Friends dealing with idiots with the odd ep dealing with bigger picture stuff. |

I love Taika but Love & Thunder felt like a band's third album after they've been indulged with too much champagne and cocaine by the record company. It was just silly. And I'll watch anything with Natalie Portman in it. Wakanda Forever, Ant Man Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Ms Marvel, She-Hulk... I haven't watched any of them. I only started Secret Invasion the day before yesterday and half an episode in I was bored. |

All around good episode, the sound really popped tho. So good.
I'm glad it's been forever since I've read the books, I can tell it's deviating, but I have no idea specifically how.
