Bye Bye Tana. Wellington will miss you.
Tanas last game tomorrow for the Lions.
I saw him play his first game for Wellington in Athletic park back in 94, and I'm sure as shit gonna see him play his last. Respect!

I'll be there for a couple of reasons:
1. For Tana probably my favorite player in the last ten years 2. To drink as much as possible in the corporate box

Yeah, because the All Blacks are rock solid in the centres.
Much love for Tana. Hard to believe he's retired. |

That was probably a bit harsh. I think he's awesome and have the upmost respect for him but you gotta admit, he sure dragged his retirement out didn't he?? Jeez, what a Holyfield :P

I'd still rather have him play for centre than anyone we have right now, but he's earned his good rest. Respects Tana.

id take him to the world cup , he is still the best defensive center in the country with daylight a distant second.
I remember watching him years ago as a terrible full back at athletic park , then he moved to the wing and with Cullen cut defense to shreds. When Ieremea left I thought we (lions / hurricanes ) were screwed but Tana stepped in and changed how the position was played. I felt pretty sad when he went off on saturday :| , gg tana |
