Hmmm... frogblog... I thought I smelled something decidedly dodgy the moment I clapped eyes on this:

Quote:
What I found was probably the National Party’s most coherent and well articulated policy:

I think a blank white page with a picture of a bloke says all that needs to be said!
I had a look at the National website, went to the Women's Affairs page and saw this:

Buhh? That doesn't look like the picture on the Greens' blog! So I clicked on the little bit that said 'More...'

Guhh?! Still doesn't look like the picture supplied by the Greens! Although, to be fair, the url in their screenshot is a wee bit different. So I checked that.

It's almost like each time I check the women's affairs section, there's more there! I still don't know how to get it to look like the screen shot the Greens have

i dont hate you.
but i do hate your ignorance.
like the average contrarian you place a lot of weight on the appearence of 'balance' and an 'un-biased' opinion, but every opinion you express is primarily a denial of anything which dosent fit with stuff you already believe.

it's similar (on a interpersonal scale) to the equal space and gravity given by an organ like the herald to a small political lobbying firms press releases, and a report, signed by most of the worlds reputable climatologists, peer reviewed, and well intentioned.

theres too much of it, and its not making the world a better place.

A joke? No, it's a bare-faced lie.

I'd not realised that Chubby had so much stand-up comedian in him. The quality here is not too bad, and certainly I can't complain given he is performing for all of us for free.

Of course, it could be that he's simply snapped. He was cleary on the edge in the past, and things haven't been going too well for his sort of late. I'm not sure that there is a world left for the ultra-left, save under MMP where a meaingless vote can be cast in that direction.

Points out of ten for this week? Lets see... I think 5.5 is fair?

When people say "Knock knock" and then you ask "Who's there?" and then they say "Batman"... do you tell them that it's not possible they are Batman, since Batman is a fictional comic book character, and in any case, where's their cape and mask?

The blog post is dated February 21.
It's now March 25, I would assume whomever is in charge of National's website has fixed the problem by now.
It was actually blank when the post was published.

Bullshit. In the run-up to the December election I had the policy sections of all the main parties' websites open constantly to do issue comparisons, and that page wasn't blank then. In fact the only political website that had no useful info was the Labour site, as none of its policies had been updated since 2005.

*shrug* I don't need to apologise for how National maintains their website. If the page was broken then it's not the same as not having a policy.

The election was in November, but in February '09 the page was blank, this was commented on at The Standard as well.
If the page wasn't blank when the post was published in February don't you think that would have been mentioned in the comments section of the blog?

Come on, it's obvious that it's not really a screenshot of the Greens site. It's not calling for something to be banned.

Not that I agree with all of the greens proposed regulations, but I find it hard to believe people get so pissy over it. Most i've seen are generally for the greater good, but will cause people to suffer a slight discomfort (or none at all). It's not [i]that[i] bad in politics really.

They are doing pretty well but this giant fucking cycle path is a complete waste of time and resources when there are far greater priorities.
I guess someone threw it up as a easy vote catcher, so many people here that like to ride on their bicycles, and a uniting the country deal from north to south, but its completely fatous and unnecessary IMO.
This country has plenty of picturesque and scarcely used farm roads if SH1 isnt good enough already.
A paved or semi paved track across farmland or national park is an eyesore in any case.
