Depends if you see the PM as being "worth" more than a CE, i guess.
DHBs are paying pretty crappy, my old man went from private sector to DHB and took a decent pay cut.

Which is why there was a stink when Apple starting dealing in music via iTunes, and the Beatles got all uppity.

No, the Beatles (i.e., Apple Corp) had a legal agreement with Apple Computers in which Apple Computers said it would not enter the music business. Which it subsequently did.

I stand corrected - it was the trademark dispute of 1981 that started it, and the iTunes bit related to a breach of the subsequent agreement.

And I never realised that the Beatles effectively killed the Apple II line.

There's one way to find out. Shine a laser into the cockpit and wait to see if the headline is "Dumbshit downs AC/DC plane, all dead"

I could try to make it into a t-shirt, but you also said you'd buy a Fuck Up, Ashley t-shirt... I don't know what to believe any more.

The Moon is really bright tonight and Mars is close to it in the night sky. Apart from the moon being too bright, it's a good clear night in west Auckland. First time I have been able to spend more than a few minutes with my Pentax 10x50 binoculars since I received them a few weeks ago. Also Stellarium is an awesome free software for star gazers.

On wednesday night around 11pm I noticed a strong orange light moving across the sky. About the speed of a plane but it wasn't flashing. What would that have been?

Sweet. I've got a kick-ass 12" Newtonian Dobsonian telescope (although it needs some TLC atm) I haven't used it for a couple of months though, at least not proper. That software looks really sweet, I've been looking for something like it for ages... although just cruising around the sky sometimes to see what you can discover is fun too.

Probably just one of the minor gods, looking for some ass to kick.

That would be the chap changing the bulb in the moon - it's a brighter blue one this time.

I'm surprised the US aren't using this more for leverage over China, such as their approach to North Korea.

Just got accepted for an awesome position in sydney...problem is that i'm in Perth. Other big problem is that my gf of 4.5 years is in perth. I have no love lost for Perth so i'll gladly go but this GF issue complicates things. She can't leave Perth as she is still completing uni and i also know that shes the type that won't handle being apart AT all. i.e. I WILL be cheated upon.

Sigh.

What to do

I say go for it, because, to be frank, if she's cheat at a distance what's to stay for? Good jobs are gold atm.

I've really enjoyed the U19s cricket. I'm sad today is the end. These kids are GOOD.

a bit more i forgot to add: her dad committed suicide earlier last year and as a result her stable family life has resulted her being all alone here in a large 5 bedroom house. Her Mother's has to go back to Singapore (wheres shes originally from) to keep the family afloat.

So thats my guilt trip

this job offer is those one in a life chance opportunities too, not sure if i'll ever get another like it.

So its between me weighing my career or my gf
