It does seem like the setting for some B movie horror in which ants attack.

It also reminds me of that episode of The Outer Limits where that scientist keeps a couple of colony's of ant like insects from Mars.

It sounds like they told him he'd be paying ~$0.02MB, but instead it was $2MB, so he used ~35MB expecting that it'd cost him less than a dollar, when in fact they charged him ~$71.
