today's lunchtime task (other than talking to MHG) was gathering materials for my dark oak tower - got about 1/2 a chest of wood (and 20+ saplings - sustainable living yo!). That wood should turn into 2 chests of planks

I'd say they're probably the best tree to give wood atm vs time spent chopping them down. Jungle trees are a bit too high.

Ahahah, once I saw the lava, I thought it felt familiar. I like the new "touch" and I was thinking about a similar system. Was going to look at spawning it in the nether to use it's bedrock but your setup is more convenient.

hi guys i think i found bad curses house, well mound, and there are things that might be other people's stuff.It's a little hollow mound with no roof at about -189, 66, -35.

maybe - but there are some good picks there (unless he stole them off someone else), but the cavern there is explored, (unless his dumb-ass "can I have diamond" act was all that - just an act)

so, there is now a submarine tunnel to the Ocean Temple thingy - very dangerous to attempt by yourselves, especially at night

minecraft time is going to take a bit of a hit: started Borderlands The Pre-Sequel last night.
So far feels very much like a BL game - interesting story so far. Jack doesn't seem so bad - wonder what happens to make that change.

Holidayed with my Bro-in-law - he and his son play MC... just single player on his PC and the lad's tablet....

He was showing me his world, and I say "Where's your mob trap?"... so I show him how to make a mob trap.

Then I show him how to make a slime trap - I left him digging out a 24x24x40 pit...

But just before I left, I logged into his client with my credentials, and logged into the realm - showed him the sealab, our mob trap, slime trap and finally the Enderman XP grinder.... he was more than a little impressed....
